The World of Backup Plus – Part 2: The Dashboard Software

With the launch of the Backup Plus products, we felt it was a great opportunity to take a look at our dashboard software to streamline the functionality of the hard drive as well as make it super easy for you to protect, share and save your data.

As you can see by the below image, the interface for the dashboard software is pretty clean. With a simple click of the mouse, you’ll be able to backup your data as well as share upload/download your photos and videos to Facebook, Flickr or YouTube. (FYI, YouTube is an upload only function.)

I should also point out that if you’re using a Mac, the dashboard looks slightly different. As a result of having Time Machine as a default backup option, the Backup Plus drive won’t give you a “Protect” option.

The next image gives a breakdown of the differences from the previous software to the new Backup Plus software.

As you can see, we’ve added several new features to give you flexibility and customization for your data storage needs.  Like what you see? Let us know by posting a comment below, through our Facebook page or on Twitter.
