How Much Would You Pay For Peace of Mind?

We recently posted an infographic (below in case you missed it) that surfaced some interesting data about data loss and the frequency of backing up your hard drive.

Take a moment and think about this factoid – “54% of adults personally have and/or know someone who has lost files.”

When you toss in that “25% of people never backup their hard drive”, it’s easy to predict that our support staff will be getting some colorful calls in the near future.

While the graphic doesn’t specifically call out why people don’t backup their data, one theory that I’ve heard time and again is the concern that it’ll be too difficult.

I know, sometimes tech can be scary, but trust me when I say it’s really not that hard. In fact, when we launched our Backup Plus line back in June, the simplicity of being able to protect your data was part of the strategy.  If you don’t believe me, re-watch this video.

Our Backup Plus line is sleek, sexy and small enough to take with you everywhere.  And I don’t think that $100 is too steep a price the peace of mind that comes with knowing that my photos, videos and other content is safe and secure.

Do you?
