The Storage Lifestyle

Counting Crows

In my very first blog, I had been contemplating what is it about storage that makes it sexy. After almost a year, I think I’ve got the answer to that question – lifestyle.

During the course of the last year, I’ve had the pleasure of going to several places including the Napa Valley Film FestivalPepcomCESMacworld, The GRAMMY’s One Night Only event, Noise PopGame Developer’s ConferenceGDGTSXSWPAX EastE3, and San Diego Comic Con.  (Hey, boss, about that vacation request…)

Through my travels, it’s been really inspiring to see the impact that storage has had in the lives of people showcasing their creativity whether it was through music, film, technology, art or game development.

Anything you are going to spend time and energy on should be preserved, even if it never sees the light of day. (Like that folder of started blogs that I haven’t completed for any number of reasons.)

Yes, storage is a lifestyle. Whether you’re an actor looking at a script digitally or an artist crafting a commission; a musician making a musing melody or a math teacher preparing a pop quiz for your class – storage is the center of your digital life. So save it, protect it, preserve it.
