Consumed By Data? You’re Not Alone

As I write this blog, I’m streaming music from my Spotify, while occasionally checking our Facebook and Twitter feeds as well has having an IM conversation with a friend about why Transformers: Age of Extinction is 2 hours 45 minutes. So yes, if you’re being consumed by data, you’re not alone.

We can’t help it.  Between music, movies, email, photos, television, text messages, Snapchat, and everything else under the sun, we’re simply inundated with data.  How much do you think Americans consume in a day? Well, wonder no more because my Google searching fingers found this dandy infographic courtesy of UC San Diego.

Do you think these figures are pretty accurate? How much time do you spend watching TV or playing music?  And if you’re a gamer, then we can guess that this may be lowballing the figures. =)

What data consumes you the most?
